STAINLESS STEEL GUIDE RODS FOR GLOCK
We are pleased to offer stainless steel guide rods to fit most compact, full size and large frame Glocks. The guide rods are precision machined from stainless bar stock. We offer guide rod kits that are pre-assembled with ISMI springs already installed as well as guide rods without a spring installed so you can custom tune your gun to your ammo if needed. All assembled guide rod screws are installed with blue (removable) loctite. The use of blue loctite is highly recommended when custom tuning your spring set up. The spring is held in place with a small washer and 3/32" allen set screw.
The ISMI recoil spring weight is 17 lbs on the G17,17L,22,24,31,34,35,37 model guide rod. The ISMI recoil spring weight is 18 lbs on the G19,23,25,32,38 model.
A stainless steel guide rod will benefit you by improving barrel lock up by removing any "guide rod flex". A stainless guide rod will not chip, crack or melt like a factory guide rod.
THESE ARE DESIGNED TO WORK WITH GEN 1-3 GLOCKS. IF YOU WANT TO RUN ONE IN YOUR GEN 4 GLOCK YOU WILL NEED TO PURCHASE A GEN 4 GUIDE ROD ADAPTER.
